Britney Spears wants to make you sweat! MBF-Maciel/X17online.com In case you haven't noticed, Britney Spears has been looking pretty good lately. Over the past year she's gone from being a train wreck to a much better Britney in terms of both her mental and physical state. Instead of seeing her hit up Carl's Jr. on a daily basis, we've been treated to photos of her hitting up the gym -- and it shows!
A source close to Brit told Bill Zwecker of the Chicago Sun-Times that the pop star's love of dance was key in helping her get back into shape, and now the mom of two reportedly wants to release a series of workout videos to help her fans get fit as well. The "Womanizer" singer was apparently inspired when she stumbled upon some of her mother Lynne's old Jane Fonda exercise tapes. She "popped them into an old VCR machine and got a big kick out of watching them."
Although Spears' people wouldn't confirm that such a deal was in place, the concept doesn't sound all that far-fetched. A rep for the Britney's Jive/Zomba label agrees, saying, "The idea makes perfect sense, given Britney is a singer who uses dance so much in her act."
I have to say that if Britney released a fitness video I would definitely be tempted to buy it ... especially if I thought I could wind up with the type of bod she had in the "I'm A Slave 4 U" video!

Britney Spears child custody suspended
Britney Spears was barred from access to her two baby children here Friday, a day after the troubled singer was rushed to hospital on a stretcher amid fears for her health.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered Spears' children to be placed in the sole care of the singer's ex-husband Kevin Federline, suspending the pop star's visitation rights until "further order of the court."
A hearing has been set for January 14 which will determine how the bitter custody battle is to proceed.
The court ruling came after a dramatic 24 hours for Spears, the fallen pop princess who has rarely been out of the tabloid headlines over the past year following a string of bizarre incidents.
On Thursday she was wheeled out of her Los Angeles mansion on a stretcher and taken to the Cedars Sinai hospital for evaluation following a three-hour custody standoff.
Spears had reportedly refused to release her two children, Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one to Federline's bodyguard.
